Replace Fuel Injectors

Replacing fuel injectors made up 1.75 percent of repairs in 2014 according to a report by CarMD.  Your car’s fuel injectors can need replacing for a number of reasons, including building up with debris, using low grade gas in your tank or failing to replace your fuel filter regularly.

Replace Thermostat

The thermostat in your engine is put under a lot of pressure, working hard to keep your vehicle running. In 2014 2.18 percent of repairs were due to thermostat replacement.

Replace Spark Plug Wires and Spark Plugs

One of the more common repairs, replacing spark plugs and wires is something every vehicle owner should be aware of.  Over time spark plugs wear and need replacing, causing your check engine light to come on.

Replace Ignition Coil(s)

If you fail to replace your spark plugs regularly you could be looking at an ignition coil replacement too, making up 3.57% of repairs in 2014 it’s the 5th most common cause of a check engine light.
